"Crossing Paths" opens at Deacon House Gallery on April 8 featuring four artists, all of whom attended the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design at one time or another. As their paths took them through Halifax, their journeys now bring their art to Peterborough.
Daniel St-Amant lives in Toronto. His newest body of work is inspired by the mounting problem posed by global warming. Kate Murphy has lived in the Caribbean, Nova Scotia, and currently Milton, Ont. Her work is inspired by the peaceful intrigue of everyday moments. Joanna Strong grew up in Newfoundland and now lives in Toronto. She will be showing pieces from both her "Winter Pleasures" series and her "Magic Spell" series. Lucas Werger is a native of Peterborough. His current work is inspired by the beauty and the tranquility of both the garden and still life.
